1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all orders placed through the Curtis Appliance online store ("we," "us," "our") by both consumers and business customers. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase. We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time; the version displayed on our website at the time you place an order will apply to that order.

3. Conclusion of Contract

The display of products in our online store does not constitute a legally binding offer to sell; rather, it is an invitation for you to place an order. When you click the order button at checkout, you submit a binding offer to purchase the items in your cart. Receiving an automatic order confirmation by email only confirms that we have received your order — it does not, by itself, constitute our acceptance of the contract. A binding sales contract is formed only when we either send you a separate order acceptance email or dispatch the goods to you, whichever happens first.

We reserve the right to decline an order, for example if an item is unexpectedly unavailable, if there is a pricing or listing error, or if we suspect fraudulent activity.

4. Prices, Currency, and Shipping Costs

All prices shown on our product pages are listed in US Dollars (USD) and include statutory VAT and other applicable price components. Shipping costs are calculated based on your order and delivery address and are clearly displayed during checkout, before you complete and submit your order, so that you always know the total cost prior to payment.

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract. Your order will only be processed and shipped once payment has been successfully received and confirmed.

6. Delivery

We currently ship to addresses within the United States. Orders are typically processed with a handling time of 1–2 business days before dispatch, followed by a delivery time of 2–4 business days in transit. These timeframes are estimates and begin once your order has been confirmed and payment has been received; actual delivery times may vary depending on your location and circumstances outside of our control, such as carrier delays.

7. Retention of Title

All goods supplied remain the property of Curtis Appliance until paid for in full. Until title has passed to you, you agree to take reasonable care of the goods and not to dispose of them in any way that would prejudice our ownership rights.

8. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, you may return eligible items within 30 days of receiving your order. Return shipping costs for eligible returns are covered by us, at no cost to you.

Once your return is received and inspected, approved refunds are processed within 5 business days and issued to your original payment method. If you would prefer not to receive a refund, we are also happy to offer an exchange as an alternative, subject to product availability.

9. Warranty

In addition to any statutory warranty rights you may be entitled to, products purchased from Curtis Appliance are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the date of delivery. If you believe a product you purchased is defective, please contact us using the details in Section 2 so that we can assist you.

10. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises in connection with an order or these Terms, we encourage you to contact us directly first so that we can work toward a fair resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, either party may pursue the matter through the courts or other channels available under the governing law set out below.

11. Governing Law and Severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Should any individual provision of these Terms be found invalid or unenforceable, this will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
